St. Monica's House Orphanage, May Pen Hospital Paediatric Unit & Four Paths School
A May 2017 fundraising initiative connected families, volunteers and community partners with three institutions serving children in Clarendon.
McLymont's Helping Hands Children's Foundation hosted its Helping Hands Fundraising Family Day & Night at Time Market Lawn on May 13, 2017. The event was organised to raise support for St. Monica's House Orphanage, the May Pen Hospital Paediatric Unit and Four Paths School.
Independent coverage published the following month confirmed that the Foundation donated a patient monitor to May Pen Hospital in May 2017. The equipment supported paediatric clinicians by monitoring heart rate, blood oxygen, ECG readings and other vital signs, helping medical staff respond more effectively to young patients.
The initiative reflects the Foundation's long-standing approach: bringing the community together and turning that participation into practical resources for children's healthcare, education and wellbeing.
